This week’s podcast of Mental Health and You is titled 'Parenting through adolescence: Bringing the science to real life' and comes from our Psychology in Schools Team.

Dr Tamara Scully (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Beth Mosley (Consultant Clinical Psychologist) explore the challenges of adapting our parenting to meeting the needs of our developing adolescents.

With a parent and teenager as guests, they talk through some practical ideas on how to manage tricky times which are a natural consequence of some of the biological, social and psychological changes that take place as our young people grow into adults.

Zack shares some great tips to parents on how to support their teenagers, even when it feels really hard to do so. This is a great follow-on from their parent workshop Parent workshop: Supporting our teenagers with emotions - YouTube.
