    Our Access and Assessment Team in Great Yarmouth and Waveney offers screenings and assessments. This service is for people aged 26 and above who have a severe and enduring mental illness. The team signpost referrals to specialist service lines within our Trust.

  2. Access and Assessment Service Suffolk

    Our Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk makes it easier to get the right mental health service as quickly as possible. This service is for individuals over the age of 25 in Suffolk. They must have a GP. The team provides advice and assessment on all mental health conditions. The Access and Assessment Service in Suffolk does not provide long-term treatment. It makes referrals to other mental health teams following assessment, if needed.

  3. Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Service

    The Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Service provides diagnostic assessment and ongoing medical management of ADHD. This is for people over the age of 18 who are living in the Norfolk and Waveney area.

    Our Adult Community Mental Health Recovery Service provides a recovery-focused community mental health service. The service has a team in Lowestoft that supports residents with complex mental health needs in Waveney. There is also a base in Great Yarmouth to support those living in the Great Yarmouth area.

  5. Adult Community Mental Health Service North Norfolk and Norwich

    The Adult Community Mental Health Service delivers a secondary care mental health service for adults between the ages of 25 and 75. Our team provides a service for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. It offers a range of specialist, evidence-based treatments and interventions.  We have Adult Community Mental Health Service teams across Norfolk. They cover North Norfolk and Norwich City.

  6. Adult Community Mental Health Service West and South Norfolk

    Our Adult Community Mental Health Service in West Norfolk offers treatment for people with mental ill health and associated risks. People who use this service will be living with the following conditions: • Schizophrenia, • Bipolar disorder, • Personality disorder, • Severe depression with other associated symptoms, • Severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, • Other psychological conditions with a significant negative impact on their ability to live normally, • Mental ill health where there is associated risk to themselves or others.

    The Adult Community Mental Health Services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney is a health and social care community team providing assessment, treatment and support for people over the age of 25 who are experiencing mental health issues. The Adult Community Mental Health Services in Great Yarmouth and Waveney follows the principles of recovery and social inclusion and works closely with partner agencies both voluntary and statutory.

  8. Adult Learning Disability Community Service in Waveney

    The Adult Learning Disability Community Service in Waveney offers specialist interventions to people aged 25 years or over who have a learning disability.  The team’s range of professionals can cover physical health, mental health, behaviour, communication, physiotherapy and daily living skills.

    Our Adult Learning Disability Inpatient Service Suffolk is based at Walker Close. We offer an inpatient assessment and treatment for adults with a learning disability.

  10. Atlas Offender Personality Disorder Pathway Service, Probation

    The Atlas service offers direct clinical support to a small number of cases held by the National Probation Service in Norfolk and Suffolk, who are assessed as having a high level of clinical need, based on problematic personality characteristics and emotional dysregulation. The service also supports probation case managers.

  11. Autism Diagnostic Service Suffolk

    Our Autism Diagnostic Service provides assessments to identify if a person has autism or not. We have a youth team who provide assessments for young people between the ages of 11 and 18. We have an adult team who provide assessments for those aged 18 and over. If we diagnose somebody with autism, we offer advice and short term limited support to help them, and their family, to understand their diagnosis. Our team will explore ways that might help manage difficulties or challenges faced at home, work or in education.

  12. Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) Suffolk

    A community eating disorder service for children, young people and adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (children only) and related diagnoses.

  13. Community Memory Assessment Service in East Suffolk

    Our Community Memory Assessment Service is available to adults in the East Suffolk area. It is a diagnostic service with a primary aim of confirming or excluding a diagnosis of dementia. The team may diagnose Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Our Community Memory Assessment service offers help with the following: Holistic memory assessment, Signposting to other support services, Diagnosis or non-diagnosis of dementia, Some post diagnostic psychosocial interventions.

  14. CORE Offender Personality Disorder Pathway Service, Probation

    The CORE service primarily offers case formulation and clinical advice to probation staff for cases held by the National Probation Service in Norfolk and Suffolk. In a very small number of cases, direct assessment of individuals with high levels of need may occur.

  15. Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team – Central Norfolk

    Our Central Norfolk Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) provide support for adults. People who use this service are from the North Norfolk, South Norfolk and Norwich areas. They will be experiencing a mental health crisis. This service also works with other service providers to support young people outside normal office hours.

  18. Dementia and Intensive Support Team (DIST) in Great Yarmouth and Waveney

    DIST in Great Yarmouth and Waveney is a team of health professionals experienced in assessments and interventions for adults with age-related needs. Whilst this is generally for people over 65 years of age this service is for anyone living with a diagnosis of dementia.

  19. Dementia Intensive Support Team - East (DISTE) in Suffolk

    DISTE is a specialist dementia service in east Suffolk. The service works with people with dementia (or suspected dementia) and their families in the event of a dementia related crisis, to avoid acute hospital admission. Such a crisis may involve either a recent change in behaviour that is cause for concern, or carers needing more support to manage their caring role to prevent care breakdown. Either situation may otherwise result in an unnecessary hospital admission.

  20. Early Intervention in Psychosis (Suffolk)

    The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service supports people between the ages of 14 and 65 in Suffolk who are experiencing symptoms of a first episode of psychosis. This service supports people for up to a three-year period and provides intervention to reduce the impact of the symptoms and support social recovery. The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service aims to help people who use the service, and their family, to understand more about the symptoms of psychosis and what treatments are available.
