Welcome to the Recovery College

Starting your recovery

The Recovery College is here for anyone 16+ living in Norfolk and Suffolk who are looking to improve their mental health/wellbeing.

We offer free courses in-person and virtually. Sessions are designed to help you build skills and strategies for your recovery journey, whether you are going through it yourself or supporting others.

Recovery is where people find ways of living a meaningful and purposeful life with, or without, ongoing symptoms.
SHEPHERD, ET AL, 2014

Attendance is not put on clinical records. You can participate as much or as little as you would like, all in a relaxed, informal setting with no tests. It is all about your journey and how you want to take part.

Recovery Colleges originated in 1990s America and are now present in over 20 countries. They offer community-focused, adult education-based courses which support personal recovery with the model growing significantly in the UK since 2009.

Our college launched in October 2013. Since then it has evolved to 40+ courses, adapting to meet needs of students.
