How Carers can get involved
If you're a carer and would like to work with our Trust to help shape improvements across Norfolk and Suffolk, you can do so through some of our participation opportunities or ongoing projects across the Trust.

Launched at NSFT in January 2024, LiA is a staff-led positive, outcome focused, continuous ‘movement of change’ to improve patient care, culture and staff happiness.
We are currently on our third wave of the programme.
The ‘Think Family and Carer’ (LiA) Listening into Action Pioneer Team set itself the mission to achieve a measurable improvement in the way the Trust recognises and involves carers in line with the principles of the Triangle of Care.
The Pioneer Team quickly recognised it could not deliver change alone and therefore focused on creating the conditions for staff to be more professionally curious, have open conversations with carers and make recording carer information as simple as possible.
By identifying barriers, developing enablers and raising issues at executive level, the team has ensured carer identification and engagement is now a strategic priority.
