New playpark strengthens support for families at Kingfisher Mother and Baby Unit

A new playpark for mothers and babies being supported by Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) at Hellesdon Hospital has officially opened.

The new sensory playpark, at the Kingfisher Mother and Baby Unit, has cost £60,000 and has been jointly funded by NSFT and Norfolk County Council, which awarded a £30,000 grant from the Government’s Best Start Family Hub fund.

2026 Community Mental Health Survey

At Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, your voice is really important to us so that we can understand how to improve care for your and our community. Therefore, we are excited to announce that, in August, the NHS is again launching a major survey on people’s experiences of using mental health services. If you used services in April or May 2026, you could be invited to take part and share your thoughts on the quality of support you received.
