Disability Living Allowance

For children under 16 years old, it is possible to apply for a disability living allowance if the child needs extra looking after because of their difficulties and differences.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

If you are 16 years older and have difficulties or differences that cause you difficulty in doing certain everyday tasks or in getting around, and if you expect the difficulties to last for at least 12 months from when they started, you might consider applying for a personal independence payment.
