Jasmin Plant, research assistant psychologist

I work in research development for the adult mental health services. My role involves developing and writing funding applications. I am currently involved acute adult mental health discharge and the language of diagnosis in mental health conditions. I also work with the older persons delivery stream as a therapist for IACT4CARERS.

I like that I get to work on a lot of varied research projects and am always learning something new. Within my department there is a real emphasis on co-production and I love being able to gain valuable insight from experts by experience. Each day, through my work, I can help to improve the care, support and lives of those experiencing mental health difficulties.
