Our assessments are carried out by trained mental health professionals, including Registered Nurses, Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists.

Our team supports young people through a pathway of treatment for the following mental health problems:

    • Anxiety
    • Mood difficulties
    • Those struggling with the effects of traumatic events
    • Children and young people struggling to manage distressing emotions
    • Children and young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties and also have a suspected Neurodevelopmental Disorder (NDD; such as Autism or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

We have a flexible and supportive approach to assessing young people's mental health and providing treatment. This means that we encourage family involvement in assessments and that we offer family and systemic psychotherapy where clinically appropriate.

We also offer a range of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-informed treatments, some of which actively involve parents and carers in the treatment plan.

Our service aims to follow the guidance of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE): Homepage | NICE.
