Feedback on plans for the Upper Plateau at Hellesdon Hospital

As part of our long-term plan for Hellesdon Hospital, following the corporate function move and the completion of the Rivers Centre, we are making progress planning for the redevelopment of the Upper Plateau.

This redevelopment is required as many buildings on the site in Norwich are no longer fit for use or conversion.

The site has been allocated for residential redevelopment to fulfil the growing demand for housing. Therefore we are looking to submit an Outline Planning Application to support the future sale of this site to generate funds for the Trust.

Various plans are being developed for the services currently based on the Upper Plateau of Hellesdon Hospital and these plans will be communicated as they progress.

We have worked with Bidwells and KLH Architects to develop an illustrative master plan for the re-development of Hellesdon Hospital upper plateau as housing units.

You can view the Hellesdon upper plateau master plan board [pdf] 15MB and leave feedback through our online form

Once these plans have been discussed with staff and the local Hellesdon residents, feedback will be incorporated before the planning application is submitted.
