Overview

This study aims to understand more about psychosis and related conditions.

About the study

Improving our understanding of the progression of psychosis over time can provide valuable insights into the early risk markers of more detrimental long-term outcomes, as well as the potential early intervention avenues to change these outcomes. This can support more personalised approaches to assessment, treatment, and allocation of resources to individuals at greatest risk, helping to reduce or even prevent poor psychiatric, social, functional and physical outcomes in this population.

Overall, the study team aims at improving the lives of individuals experiencing psychosis, by

  • Understanding these conditions and risk factors better
  • Helping to develop tailored early treatment approaches.

Who can take part?

  • Anyone who has experienced a first episode of psychosis within the last 3 years, or are identified as at risk of psychosis;
  • Aged between 16 and 65 years.
  • Currently within NSFT Suffolk services
