Join a team that's transforming specialist mental health services

A recruitment campaign launched late last year by Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is now entering its next phase.

Hundreds of people have applied for jobs at the Trust, following the campaign which saw nurses and clinical colleagues sharing their inspiring stories about why their jobs are life-changing for both themselves and the people they care for.

Now, health leaders are expanding the campaign to appeal to job seekers who don’t have clinical backgrounds, by highlighting a number of vacancies that are all vital to supporting the organisation, as it delivers extensive improvements across its services.

There are job opportunities across the Trust's administration, security, and data teams and openings for carpenters and building experts.

Stuart Richardson, NSFT’s Chief Executive, said: “At NSFT we’re a team of over 5,000 people working across Norfolk and Suffolk. What unites us all is our commitment to deliver excellent care to those who need us. That doesn’t just start and end with our frontline nurses, doctors, and clinicians - everyone who works as part of NSFT has a really important part to play in maintaining our relentless focus on delivering improvements and making sure we provide the very best care.

“The size of our organisation means that we always have a number of vacancies, covering all sorts of roles that we want to recruit to. You don’t necessarily need previous experience in the NHS, we’re looking for people with transferrable skills, who enjoy working as part of a team and who are committed to improving the lives of people who use our services.”

Cath Byford, NSFT’s Deputy Chief Executive and Chief People Officer, added: “It’s an exciting time to join us - we’re delivering such an extensive programme of improvements right across the organisation which are making a real difference to people’s experience of our services.

“We’ve still got a lot left that we need to do and it’s more important than ever that we have the right people to help us achieve our ambitions no matter what their role.”
