A Norwich hospital unit for women experiencing perinatal mental health problems has had its dedication to identifying and supporting unpaid carers recognised with the presentation of a Carer Friendly Tick Award.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is celebrating after two members of staff and one of its lived experience partners were recognised at the Mental Health Awards 2025, which honour outstanding contributions to improving mental health care across the UK.

Teams from Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are working with the Royal College of Nursing to assess how confident they are in treating service users with a learning disability or autism.

The work by members of Norfolk and Suffolk Mental Health Trust's (NSFT) Particip8 group was used as part of Norfolk County Council's Takeover Practice Week which had the theme Understood not Overlooked.

As many families and friends prepare to celebrate Bonfire Night with the traditional fireworks and displays, it can be a distressing time for veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust's Veterans Integrated Service want to raise awareness of the impact fireworks can have on those who have served in the armed forces, and support veterans who may find it difficult at this time of year.
