Eleanor McCarthy

I am a Research Assistant Psychologist, managing the Research Referral Database REACH, and the Participant in Research Experience Surveys (PRES). 

My previous experience has spanned across the realm of cognitive psychology, and applied neuroscience - including work with brain imaging techniques such as fMRI and EEG! I have also developed a wealth of clinical experience throughout my time with NSFT, working across complex mental health presentations and crisis intervention management. Within my current role, I aim to create a positive, supported space for potential participants in our research process, because the value of their experience and perspective is imperative to positively shaping the effectiveness of our services.

Outside of work, I am a keen traveller, coffee drinker, and avid cat lover!
