Family and carers can form part of an inpatient’s assessment and care. With permission from the patient in accordance to the Data Protection Act, staff may speak to relatives and carers to offer support and to work together to improve care.

Blickling Ward, where permission has been given will invite family and friends to admission meetings, clinical review meetings as well as discharge planning meetings.
