Veterans ready to peak for funding

Veterans and staff from Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust will be scaling the heights of Snowdon next month to raise money for its support services.
Members of the Wellbeing Support Group for veterans, staff and supporters from the wider veterans' community will be climbing the Welsh mountain on 4 August to raise money for events and activities. These include family days, Christmas functions and Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph London.
The group has already collected more than £1500 towards their target of £2500 and group leader Wayne Ward said: "People have been so generous in their donations, and we are really hopeful that we will hit our target."
There will be 32 people taking part in the latest challenge, who have been training over the past few months. Wayne said: Some of us have completed it once this year for the recce and I mountain bike on a regular basis so I'm feeling confident we will get to the top in a decent time.
