People living in Norfolk and Suffolk are being invited to have their say on local mental health services next month.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is holding its Annual General Meeting at The Mix, in Stowmarket, on Tuesday 6 October 2026. The meeting itself will be held at 11.30am, however, NSFT will be showcasing its work from 10am until 3pm.

A marketplace of up to 20 stalls will provide information and insight into key programmes of work for the Trust as it continues its journey to improve health, improve care, improve culture, and improve value.

Members of the public will be able to find out more about the development of the Neighbourhood Mental Health Centres, learn about how we are supporting carers and families, as well as having the opportunity to speak to our Veterans Integrated Service, Recovery College, Learning Disability and Autism Team, and more.

We will also be joined by both Suffolk and Norfolk and Waveney Talking Therapies, Suffolk Voluntary and Statutory Partnership (VASP) for Mental Health, and Knowing Works.

The AGM is an opportunity to hear Chair Zoë Billingham, Chief Executive Officer Caroline Donovan, the Trust’s Executive Team, and our Lead Governor, talk about the improvements NSFT has made, highlights from the past year, and its priorities.

Zoë Billingham, Chair, said: “The improvements made across the Trust since our last AGM in 2025 are deeply encouraging. Our CQC reports across a range of services has highlighted substantial improvements, and our new five-locality model is enabling us to better respond to community needs.

“I am looking forward to sharing our progress at the AGM but most importantly, I am looking forward to hearing from our local communities. We know there is still work to do and the voices of service users, families, carers and members of the public play an important role in shaping our mental health services in the future.

“The AGM and the marketplace will help facilitate meaningful conversations and feedback on NSFT services to ensure we are working together to provide safer, better and kinder care.”

Those attending the AGM will be offered tea, coffee and cake.
