Fire service training exercise at Hellesdon Hospital

Front of old brick building named Hellesdon Hospital

We would like to make patients, visitors and local residents aware that Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service will be carrying out a planned training exercise at Hellesdon Hospital on Thursday 18 June from approximately 18.30.

The exercise will take place in a disused building on site and will involve emergency vehicles, firefighters and a simulated rescue scenario. During this time, you may see:

  • Fire engines on site
  • Flashing blue lights
  • Smoke within and around the building
  • Increased activity in the area

Please be assured that this is a pre-planned training exercise and not a real emergency incident.

Training exercises like this are essential to ensure emergency services are fully prepared to respond effectively in real situations.

We apologise for any concern or disruption this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
