Staff Governor - Maggie Harahwa

I have been in NSFT for 16 years and have worked in various teams within our Trust. I am a registered Mental Health Nurse and a qualified AMHP. I currently work in our Children and Young People Services.

I am an enthusiastic person and passionate about inclusivity, service improvements and the quality of care we provide to patients and their families who access our services, and l know we cannot achieve this without our brilliant workforce.

As a BME member of staff l have encountered some challenges in our Trust and from my experience listening to staff concerns, problem solving, and actioning what has been promised creates a positive culture within our organisation.

I am proud and privileged to work for NSFT and I am ready to give back the knowledge, experience, and skills l have gained over the years working in our organisation. As a staff governor my priorities would be to support and make NSFT a better place for all of us to work in.
