What we do

AHP support workers and assistants play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of therapy and treatment programmes prescribed by AHPs, enabling people to reach their full potential. They work with AHPs to deliver of a wide range of therapeutic interventions including:

  • Enabling people to develop skills needed to undertake activities of daily liviing e.g. Self-care, leisure, work and education
  • Improving physical wellbeing, mobility and activity
  • Development of communication, speech, language and eating and drinking skills
  • Maintaining a healthy diet
