At Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, your voice is really important to us so that we can understand how to improve care for your and our community. Therefore, we are excited to announce that, in August, the NHS is again launching a major survey on people’s experiences of using mental health services. If you used services in April or May 2026, you could be invited to take part and share your thoughts on the quality of support you received.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust’s state-of-the-art Rivers Centre mental health development has been officially opened by Lord Victor Olufemi Adebowale, CBE. Guests included stakeholders, service users and staff who were involved in the planning of the £55 million development.

Two more teams have achieved NSFT’s Learning Disability and Autism Friendly Kitemark, following in the footsteps of the Recovery College. The Forensic South Community and the LD CAMHS teams have completed their Bronze Award.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has upgraded its rating for the long stay rehabilitation ward run by Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) and praised the “kind, compassionate” care provided by staff.

Learning disability nurse Una Chirisa was named “star baker” at a special meet and greet event to mark Learning Disability week.

The LD Bake Off competition for staff at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, was part of an afternoon date to showcase the work of learning disability and autism teams in Norfolk and Suffolk.
