A statement from our CEO on the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen

Her Majesty The Queen, Queen Elizabeth II, 21 April 1926 - 8 September 2022

Stuart Richardson Chief Executive, said:

“We are deeply saddened to hear that Her Majesty The Queen has passed away. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.

“After more than 70 years as our Queen, her loss will be acutely felt across the country and over the world. We would like to pay tribute to Her Majesty’s life-long commitment to public service.”

Following the sad passing of Her Majesty the Queen and the news that her state funeral will be held on Monday 19 September, now a public Bank Holiday, please be aware that some of our community and support services will not be delivered on that day.

If you had a previously booked appointment with us on the 19 September a member of our team will be in touch with you. If you are not contacted please assume your appointment will go ahead as planned. Please do contact your care co-ordinator if you have any questions in the meantime. Our inpatient services will continue to be provided as usual as will our crisis services. If you need urgent mental health support or advice on 19 September please call 111 and select option 2.
