Jump into January

Wellbeing Suffolk is once again partnering with Suffolk Libraries for its New Year wellbeing campaign this month.

Jumpstart January 2021 will have a theme of physical activity and wellbeing, with free online and socially-distanced activities, together with ideas and information to boost your health in the New Year.

Wellbeing Suffolk is providing a programme of activities run by their staff and professional instructors. All the activities are free and there’s something for all ages and fitness levels. There will be sessions providing advice on how to get active in Suffolk and where to walk in Suffolk as well as more relaxing sessions such as an Introduction to Mindfulness and Relaxation Station. The sessions are designed to be relaxed and accessible and people don’t have to worry about having their camera or audio on.

Jacqui Pearson, social team leader, Wellbeing Suffolk, said: "January can be a tough month so Jumpstart January is perfectly placed to offer that extra support just when you need it. This January we have added a range of socials that will help you to get out and get active and hit the new year with positivity. Our social events have been hugely popular after moving everything online due to the pandemic, helping people feel connected but also providing them with a range of different events and activities to try.”
