Chief executive retirement
17/09/2020

Jonathan Warren will retire as Chief Executive of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) on 30 March 2021. We are now putting plans in place to appoint his successor and would like your views on the key attributes you feel we should be looking for.

Our permanent CEO will help our Trust take further steps towards achieving our vision, which is “to be in the top quarter of mental health trusts for quality and safety by 2023”. They will build on the firm foundations which Jonathan has put in place to improve our culture while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will also need to work closely with service users, staff and our partner organisations so that we can further improve our core services and ensure that care is joined-up and easily accessible.

We are now developing the person specification for the role and would value your opinion on the qualities we should include. It would be very helpful if you could answer the following question by Friday, 25 September:

“What are the key attributes, skills and personal qualities you would like us to focus on within our CEO person specification”

Please email your thoughts by Friday, 25 September to nsft.communication@nsft.nhs.uk

Thank you so much for taking the time to help us with this critical appointment
