 What help do you offer?

At Walker Close we offer an inpatient assessment and treatment for adults with a learning disability.​

 How do I get help from your service?

Consultant psychiatrists, care coordinators can refer you to us via the Intensive Support Team.

 What hours is your service available?

Our service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 What can I expect from you?

You can expect a multidisciplinary assessment of your individual needs followed by a period of treatment to address those needs.

Onsite facilities

On street parking is available at Walker Close free of charge.

We provide disabled access and toilet facilities.​

 What support do you offer carers including friends and family?

We allow visiting on the unit during specified times. We can make referrals for carer assessment.

We encourage carer involvement with care and treatment, and provide appointments for carers to discuss care and treatment if appropriate and if the patient is happy to consent.
