Parent Infant Mental Health Attachment Team

 What help do you offer?

​PIMHAT provides a specialist relational parent infant assessment and therapy for families where there is a combination of mental health needs, concerns regarding the attachment relationship and a significant safeguarding component. PIMHAT offers a combination of mental health support and attachment therapy to promote times of stability, sensitivity and attunement in early relationships with the goal of infants remaining safely in the care of their parents.

 How do I get help from your service?

​Referrals are made or need to be agreed to by the infants Social Worker.

 What hours is your service available?

​9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday

 What can I expect from you?

A package of support individually tailored to fit the needs of the family:

We offer a combination of:

  • Therapeutic Assessment
  • Outreach Attachment Focused Psychotherapy
  • Community Mental health Support (including access to Adult Psychiatry)
