We provide intensive support for you during mental health crisis.
We provide prompt and effective home treatment, including medication, and brief psychological inteventions in order to prevent hospital admissions and give support to your carers. We also act as a gatekeeper to other mental health services such as acute inpatient care, referring you to other services if longer term follow up is indicated.
We accept referrals from Single Point of Access team, Adult Recovery Teams, acute psychiatric wards, psychiatric liaison team or GP and other health providers.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
staff come from various disciplines in order to provide as holistic an
assessment and experience as possible. Although you are unlikely to see the
same person on every visit, each member of the team will be familiar with your
situation and work with you towards your recovery. We have a Nurse Consultant
who is able to review any medication needs you may have.
remit is to avoid hospital admission and offer an alternative home based
treatment package. We do not expect to resolve your difficulties entirely, but
to refer you on to another team or service appropriate to your needs if
required. We are used to managing situations that feel risky and encourage a
collaborative, honest relationship in order for you to experience the positive
benefits of sharing difficult thoughts or feelings. We see you as required, and
can visit more often than daily if you need it.

We treat a wide range of conditions and disorders that result in mental health crisis.
We offer time and support for carers. We can also refer on for carers assessments where necessary. We encourage you to involve your families in your care, and where appropriate and agreed, we share information and offer guidance to your carers.
