Help in a crisis
What are our priorities and how are we doing

Our five-year strategy

Our Trust’s mission is to be a champion for positive mental health, by providing safe, effective, trusted services together with our partners. Our five year strategy explains what we will do to achieve this through our three core goals:

1. Improving quality and achieving financial sustainability
2. Working as one Trust
3. Focusing on prevention, early intervention and promoting recovery.

The strategy incorporates input from staff, service users, carers, stakeholders, commissioners and regulators. It describes how we will develop our services and what this will mean for people who use our services and work for us. It underlines our commitment to quality, safety and improved outcomes for the people we serve. It will inform each of our objectives and everything we do.

Our annual operational plan

Our annual operational plan sets out what we will do in the year ahead to deliver against our strategy. Good strategic planning, forecasting and management of risks are key to the delivery of safe, effective services and an important part of an NHS Foundation Trust’s ability to meet the terms of its authorisation.
