The Emotional Wellbeing Hub is a critical part of the Suffolk Emotional Wellbeing 2020 Transformation Plan which aims to increase the number of children, young people and families receiving early help from the Suffolk health and care system.
The Hub is an integrated, multi-agency (health and social care) team that will support children, young people (0-25), families and practitioners in East and West Suffolk with concerns around emotional wellbeing and mental health.
The Hub offers the opportunity to work from a single, shared value-base which is adopted by all professionals and agencies working with children, young people and families.
It is dependent on a collaborative approach and everyones understanding of the part they play in helping to build resilience and capacity in families through the provision of information, early support and advice, and brief intervention in universal settings.
Underpinning the delivery of our transformation plan is the co-production work with our stakeholders which includes parents and carers, schools, voluntary organisations and young people, who have formed the Children and Young People, Action and Transformation network (CAT).
Our Hub will be built on a principle that we all have a responsibility to respond to children and young people’s emotional needs. It is the business of all of us.
