Abbie Kampta - Public Governor, Norfolk

Abbie Kampta - Public Governor, Norfolk Term of office started 1 February 2021

I have dealt with many things in my life that have taught me to fight for what I believe in. I remain optimistic that if you work hard enough and dedicate enough time, you can solve any problem.

My Philosophy degree taught me to be pragmatic, to gather evidence and different perspectives before reaching conclusions. This means that when I address the Board or fight for a cause, I make sure that I have all the information needed.

We often need help to deal with difficult issues in life. I aim to make sure that this support is accessible and beneficial to everyone who needs it.

We all deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, and empathy. The Trust’s values highlight how important this is. I will reflect these principles in everything I do.

The Trust aims to be representative and adaptable to change. They genuinely care about Members and the people and communities they support. The Council of Governors ensures that people's views are heard. I am confident that together we can make a better future for everyone.
