Your chance to influence the future of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

‚ÄčNominations are now open for those wishing to fill one the vacancies on the Board of Governors at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT).

Anyone aged over 16 and who is a member of the Trust is eligible to nominate themselves as a Governor and play an important role in influencing decisions about how NSFT is run.

It is free to join the Trust and The Board of Governors holds the Board of Directors to account, appoints Non-executive Directors and the Chair, as well as representing the views of local people and staff.

Governors come from all walks of life and include staff, service users, carers and the public who have an interest in mental wellbeing. In addition there are Governors who are appointed by partner organisations including the police, social care and education.

Governors will be expected to attend four formal board meetings a year across both counties, as well as becoming active members of sub-groups.

Nominations are open for vacancies for six public and one service user (female) in Norfolk and one public for Suffolk.

October 2012. Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.
