Trust hosts service user involvement events in Norfolk and Suffolk

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust will be hosting two events to provide its service users in both counties the chance to be at the forefront of how the organisation operates.

It is the Trust's ambition to deliver partnerships that put service users' views, needs, aspirations, experiences and expert knowledge at the very core of everything it does.

As such, service users are encouraged to be involved in service planning, care planning and the recruitment process, delivery and by assuring the quality of our services.

Norfolk and Waveney

Wednesday, 20 March, 11am-3pm

The King's Centre, King Street, Norwich NR1 1PH

Monday, 15 April, 11am-3pm

Limes Hotel, 99 High Street, Needham Market, Suffolk IP6 8DQ

These events have been designed so that service users' involvement is meaningful and measured. As such both days will include dedicated workshops asking service users for feedback about: What is working well and what is not working well? What are the challenges and what are the solutions?

At the events, service users will be able to:

  • Hear about the Trust's service user involvement strategy
  • Share their thoughts on service user partnership working
  • Discuss how they can get more involved
  • Both events include complimentary refreshments, biscuits and a buffet lunch.

To book a place, service users should call the PALs office on 01603 421191 or 0800 279 7257.

    Notes to editors:

These events are to discuss an ongoing and evolving document called the ‘Service user involvement strategy’ that will be reviewed on a regular basis.
