Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has organised five workshops to work on the development of the Trust LD/Autism Strategy.
NSFT is looking forward to working with service users, carers and members of the public, to produce a five
year strategy that will ensure the Trust continues to build on the work
undertaken by the Green Light Toolkit, to ensure mental health services meet the needs of people with learning disabilities and autism.
There are five workshop style events, and you can opt into any workstream relevant to you:
6 February - Accessibility of services13 February - Accessibility of services17 February - Better health and wellbeing20 February - Working in partnership22 February - Keeping safe27 February - Strategic direction
The two workshops on Accessibility and Access will represent the main focus of the work to be undertaken in the
strategy. Once the workshops have taken place, there will also be an
opportunity to consult on the strategy in March, if you are unable to
attend these workshops.
Participation is free and you can join as many events as you wish.
There are also easy read flyers relevant for each workshop that can be shared with service users and family carers. Due to the size of the rooms, please book into the sessions by contacting Veronica Collins, PA to Deputy Director of Nursing and Governance on 01473 266296 or via email at: email@example.com All meetings will take place at the Diss Business Hub, Hopper Way (IP22 4GT), in the Casino Room. Tea and coffee are available but no lunch will be provided, although food is available to purchase in the café.
