Just three days remain until Norfolk and Suffolk NHS
Foundation Trust (NSFT) holds its first recruitment day at Ipswich Corn
Vacancies are available in East Suffolk for qualified mental health nurses,
qualified learning disability nurses, occupational therapists, social workers,
assistant practitioners and clinical support workers.
NSFT staff and service users will be available at the recruitment day, which
takes place on Thursday (7 June) between 11am and 7pm, to talk about the Trust
from their own perspectives.
Tara Brown, Modern Matron, said: “This is an exciting time to come to work for
our Trust as we are focusing strongly and enthusiastically on quality
improvement and implementing positive changes.
“Most of our services in East Suffolk have vacancies but even where that is not
the case, the recruitment day will still be an opportunity for people to learn
about services should they be interested when openings do arise.”
NSFT has four inpatient teams based at its Woodlands unit on the site of
Ipswich Hospital and three multi-disciplinary Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs)
in East Suffolk providing community-based care which work across the age ranges
from child and family to later life.
In addition, there is a Learning Disabilities Intensive Support Team which
works with service users and their carers in their home environment, and acute
inpatient care is provided to people with a learning disability and mental
health needs in Walker Close, Ipswich.
