Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is holding an open day at one of its mental health units next week to raise awareness of career opportunities within the Trust.
Health professionals who are currently working as mental health nurses, general nurses, occupational therapists and social workers are being encouraged to express their interest by registering now ahead of the event on Monday 23 May.
On Monday, representatives from the Trust will be on hand at the Fermoy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to talk about the current roles available in the adult community mental health team, the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment service, as well as an acute admission ward for mental health.
Leigh Howlett, Director of Strategy & Resources for NSFT, said: “The event is a great way for people to come and find out more about the Trust and what it is like working in mental health. It can be one of the most satisfying careers you can choose, with lots of options available to you.
“Our local mental health staff will be on hand to discuss their work as well as talk to people about the existing job vacancies within their service.
“If you are compassionate, reliable, motivated, and are ready for a challenge, then we want to hear from you.”
