Wellbeing Norfolk & Waveney

 What help do you offer?

Wellbeing Norfolk offers help and support to improve wellbeing and manage stress, low mood and anxiety. We aim to reduce the onset of mental ill health, prevent deterioration and promote recovery by offering a range of flexible services tailored to meet your specific needs.

Our services, provided in community settings throughout the region, include a wide range of workshops and courses, talking therapies, including counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy, and access to social networks. In Norfolk and Waveney, our peer supporters – known as Ambassadors – provide an important extension of the services we offer, promoting wellbeing and helping others.

We provide help if you are over 16 and suffering from mild to moderate depression or anxiety. We offer brief interventions with a focus on supported self help.

How do I get help from your service?

You can get help by contacting us via our website at or by calling us on 0300 123 1503. All calls are charged at local rate from both landlines and mobiles.

What hours is your service available?

What can I expect from you?

We can help you access community based resources and support, and provide telephone treatments, workshops and one-to-one work. We also   run social events to help you make connections with like-minded people in your area and with local community activities

We offer brief interventions for mild to moderate problems with depression and anxiety. If you have problems in these areas then we can offer an opportunity to discuss with you the best way to meet your needs.

We might offer you the opportunity to attend a workshop to receive help and guidance on tackling your problems or to have self-guided work over the telephone. In some cases one-to-one help is available.

If we cannot meet your needs we do our best to direct you to a service or resource that can help you.
