At Yare Ward we provide inpatient support in a low secure setting if you are a male over 18.
We take referrals from medium secure units, Ministry of Justice, National Offender Management Service, other wards within the Trust and sometimes further afield.
Our service is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can be admitted into our ward for a few months or more. We work closely with you to determine the best treatment based on risk reduction and assessment while you are here and we review this regularly.
Depending on why you are with us, we offer talking therapies, group sessions or other forms of treatment. We have activities on the ward that might be appropriate including a gym and arts and crafts sessions.

Where possible we encourage you to maintain relationships with your friends and family. Where people have taken on a caring role or are struggling to balance their caring duties with day-to-day life, we refer them for a carer assessment.
