 What help do you offer?

At Walker Close we offer an inpatient assessment and treatment for adults with a learning disability.​

 How do I get help from your service?

Consultant psychiatrists, care coordinators and the access and assessment team can refer you to us.​

 What hours is your service available?

Our service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 What can I expect from you?

You can expect a multidisciplinary assessment of your individual needs followed by a period of treatment to address those needs.

 What support do you offer carers including friends and family?

We allow visiting on the unit during specified times. We can make referrals for carer assessment.

We provide appointments with individual clinicians to discuss your care and treatment if you consent. We encourage involvement with your care and treatment, if appropriate, and with your consent.​
