This is for the whole community  to raise awareness about mental health, to promote inclusion within the community and to be a fun day out for all the family.

Timetable

  • 10:30 to 11:00am MC Will, East Coast Rapper
  • 11am to 12 noon Sing Your Heart Out with Jane Wells
  • 11am Storytime with Jacquie (for children)
  • 12noon to 1pm Have a bash with Black Dog
  • 1 to 2pm MC Will, East Coast Rapper
  • 2pm to 3pm Sing Your Heart Out with Jane Wells
  • 3pm to 4pm Have a bash with Black Dog
  • 4:00pm Balloon release, see all your worries float away
       + on the Lifeboat Plain
  • 5:30pm onwards Rock concert
    featuring Black Dog band Go Ask Alice and local singer-songwriter Paul Thompson

 

With activities, alternative therapies and stalls - including one from the Trust.

The Outstanding in the Field project is funded by Time to Change, England’s biggest programme to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems and is run by the Mind and Rethink.
